At First Tee Staffing, we help connect qualified legal professionals with law firms nationwide. We place value on finding the best fit for a role, and in service of that ideal, we are opening the Eye for Talent Scholarship to help support the next generation of recruiters.

The Eye for Talent Scholarship is a $1,000 opportunity open to one student per semester, and the award can be used to cover college or university expenses. The current deadline for applications falls on March 22, 2027.

How to Apply

Your submission for the Eye for Talent Scholarship should include a two- to three-minute video responding to BOTH of the following questions:

  • Why are you interested in recruiting?
  • What qualities do you think a good recruiter should possess?

Your video response should be attached as a Google Drive or YouTube link for ease of access.

What to Expect During the Judging Period

Our judges will review all submissions according to these criteria:

  • Does the student answer both questions posed by the prompt?
  • Does the student show clear enthusiasm and passion for recruiting?
  • Does the student provide detailed insights into what they think makes a good recruiter?

The winner of the scholarship will be notified after the final deadline, once our judges have reviewed all submissions.

Qualifying for Our Scholarship Program

If you want to apply for the Eye for Talent Scholarship, review our eligibility requirements first:

  • You must be interested in pursuing a career in recruiting after graduation.
  • You must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • You must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States for the Spring or Fall 2027 semesters.
  • You must be at least 17 years old.
  • You must be a citizen of the United States.

For proof of eligibility, we ask that interested students attach a letter of acceptance or a similar document showing that they are enrolled at an accredited university, and an unofficial transcript with their cumulative grade point average for the most recent semester.
